Technical description of titanium powder
　Titanium,a kind of rare metal,element symbol Ti.Ti was founed in 1791 and became metal materal in 1940.Ti has small density of 4.5g/cm3 and belongs to light metal,also called space material,For the features like high intensity,high abrasion-resistance,good high-temperature durabillity,strong ductility as well as strong resistance to acid and alkali,it is extensively employed in military industry,aviation and airflight,navigation and civil manufacture,etc.

　Physial property:titanium powder is dark gray unformed powder,boiling poing,smelting poing:1668,not dissolve in water and organic solvent in normal temperature.Nonmagnetic metal,won't be magnetized in large magnetic field;poisonous and smell-less ,has good compatibility with human tissue and blood.
　Chemical property:in normal temperature,not react with water,dilute sulfuric acid,dilute hydrochloric acid,and nitric acid.
　However,it can be corroded by hydrofluoric acid,phosphoric acid,and fused alkdli.it dissolves in hot hydrochloric acid and hot vitriol as well as mixed liquor of hydrofluoric and hydrofluoric acid(vitrio).it may increase the content of N,H,O,C in atmosphere.it may produce exposion when mixed with strong oxidant.
